Todd Rundgren talks about A Wizard, A True Star LIVE in Akron OH

Todd Rundgren discussed his upcoming live performances of his album, "A Wizard, A True Star", with Detroit FM radio station WDET 101 (wdetfm.org). Todd will be performing the album in it's entirety on September 7th, 2009 at the Akron Civic Theatre. He will also be performing it the night before but that show is expected to be sold out within a week of this video posting. Todd's band includes: Jesse Gress, Greg Hawkes, Roger Powell, Prairie Prince, and Kasim Sulton. More information is available at www.AWATSlive.com. A Wizard A True Star is definitely a 'watershed" album. I can't believe you didn't already know how good this was.

I have enjoyed this album for over 30 years. Most, if not all of my friends, do not like "A Wizard, A True Star, but there are so many elements and music swings in this album that move me in different ways. Some songs are just fun to listen to. Other songs kick me in the ass or touch senses that soothes the soul.
