I Lost My Girl From Memphis by the Hot Antic Jazz Band. This performance was recorded during The Traditional Jazz Festival Cheserex 2007 (Switzerland).

The HOT ANTIC JAZZ BAND was founded in 1979 in Nîmes (France). Their repertoire and style derive from the music of the Chicago and New York bands from 1920-1930: Jabbo Smith, Clarence Williams, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Fletcher Henderson, Paul Howard...
The group is made up of 6 musicians, playing 14 instruments!

The HOT ANTICS' career has taken them to Europe, the USA, Canada, India, Japan and to Africa. They have played with some of the great jazz legends: Jabbo Smith, Ikey Robinson, Benny Waters, Doc Cheatham, Turk Murphy, Topsy Chapman, Bob Barnard, Jim Galloway, Humphrey Lyttleton, Claude Luter...

The Hot Antic Jazz Band has taken part in numerous festivals both in France and abroad and has won many prizes: Best Band (Edinburgh,1983), Honorary Citizens of the City of New Orleans, Sidney Bechet Prize (Jazz Academy, Paris, 1985), Carnegie Hall of New-York (1987), First Prize (Megève Jazz Contest, 1995), First Prize (Festival of Sainte Adresse, 1997 and 2001).
