  • Such a shame that McClellan's career ended so prematurely and devastatingly in the Benn fight.

    He was destined for stardom.

  • @simondgrass Not with his abusive actions toward people and animals...He was destined for what he received end of story...Karma is real Gerald

  • @thefury187 there is a documentary on Monday night on ITV here in the UK about him and Nigel Benn. Its on at 22.35.

  • the G man should have a doc made about him he was such a great boxer

  • i've been a boxing fan since age 5, i boxed myself some many years, i've watched so many fights on tele, in the arena, ringside, worked in the corner...McClellan was one of the most heavy-handed hardest hitters i ever saw..when he fought benn i was not able to sit in my seat such was the electric in that fight....i once spoke to benn about it, he told me he passed blood for 3 days after the fight. real SAD for the G-MAN a true big hitter

  • Top comment :-) great job!

  • @torr59622 The things fighters do for their sport is unreal. Dehydration is the biggest worry I think.

  • @simondgrass Gerald made the mistake of trying to lose almost 30 pounds in 6 weeks. Its hard to run a 10k after doing that, let alone get punched.

  • Gerald was awesome like:

    George foreman, tyson,

  • @JohnLeeMD no he had pitbulls and enjoyed dog fights but back in those days it was alot of dog fighting.

    he never run over flamingoes..lol

as far as i know there aren't any flamingoes in the midwest

  • @Lannyalmon3 Was it true all the stories about him letting his dog eat other dogs alive, and running over flamingos just for the sake of killing?
