Final Fantasy XIV Online Trailer

Final Fantasy XIV Online (Square Enix) was announced at E3 2009. The MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) will be available in 2010 on the Sony PS3 game console and Microsoft Windows computers. The exact date of launch, price of the game, and subscription fee is currently unknown. Current speculation is that it is a sequel to Final Fantasy XI Online, noting that all five races from FFXI are seen in the FFXIV Trailer, Screenshots, and the portrait background of the Official Site. More information will be posted as information is released.

@clownininkc816 what ya talking about. They're already releasing it for the 360, u just fire up ur pc, run the svideo cable from the video card to the back of the tv.

Plus in your 360 controller to the usb slot in the pc and BAM, 360 gaming. Exactly the same, I did it when I had to send my xbox in for repairs, or when I lost the cd of the game.

how could there be a problem on microsofts side about cross format play considering ffxi is a cross system game and its on 360

Tanaka has remarked that Microsoft's policies regarding Xbox Live and cross-platform play have been one of the reasons behind the title not being available on the platform at launch.

ya 360 is gonna get it a year or so later just like FFXI that way all the japanese players and computer nerds will be half way through the game by the time we start. 360 users wanna be at the begging of the race to the top too. not newbs when thousands of other ppl know how to play and look at us stupid cause we are learning. like i said fuck square enix

They said at the press conference that releasing it on the XBOX360 may be an option in the future like it was for Final Fantasy XI Online, but will most likely not be in use during the release. No need to bash Square Enix when they have already compromised for the general public.

but not for xbox 360 and that is the gayest thing i ever heard. but we will end up gettin it 6 months or a yr later so all the japs can get a head start on americans seein as 360 is mainly an american system and the other 2 are the main gaming systems in japan..... fuck square enix

this is actually a sequel to ffxi. square announced a while back that they were planning on making some things transferable to this one from xi, so there would have to be some connection. true, th galka seems to be missing a tail, but every other race is in there. (the mithra is casting the blue bubble on the ship). also, in the art, you can see tarus in the middle of the group, so the gang is, in fact, all there. and this is supposed to be for ps3 and PC, so youre all good.

played ffxi for almost 5 years now on the PC...think when im done with it im done with MMOs for good.
