'Live' @ St. George Leagues Club, 1983- maybe 84 thereabouts. Jon & the Fossies, John Dallimore, Greg Henson, John Coker, Peter Deacon, Keith Kerwin. Great delivery, Jon in his element, spooky story, great lights, great bandl, all the bits are in place for this performance. JE fans enjoy. Wriiten by Jon from the 'Some People' album.

  • I bought this album when it came out and this song stood out I like the macabre saw the boys do it live a number of times and was always a high light.

  • saw Jon English do this a few years ago in Newcastle, this song gives me goose bumps what a great performance

  • Oh my god !!!!!! - What a story teller :) TOTALLY MIND BLOWING !!!!! - Just Luv the emotion.... Yes - Suzie WAS REAL - you can tell my Jon's eye's. Still sings this today :) They don't make musicians like that anymore.

  • I have seen Jon a few times and this is always a treat...

  • We travelled from the UK and saw The Foster Brothers reunion concert with Jon English at The Brass Monkey Cronulla in Nov 2008. Fantastic concert !

Great videos on your channel, thanks for uploading.

  • GREAT! I saw Jon & The Fossies in Helsinki in 1983 (and yes, in 1981 too....), and it was the greatest live show ever! They were absolutely amazing! I have been hoping someone had filmed their performances back in the day and saved them for prosperity, because they were unbelievable - so I was so very happy to see this. "She Was Real" is a difficult song, but they always did a great job, and I agree with you Stretchasaurus: "all the bits are in place for this performance".
