@LexxTubeV1 Well I wasn't saying anybody playing Dorothy , I was saying come on Natalie Cole sings her dads songs and is not compared to him I think Over The Rainbow is such an emotional and sentimental value thing for both Liza and Lorna and don't like the fact that despite their mother being such a funny happy lady she is labeled as a tragedy.

@cinderelmo We'll have to agree to disagree on the Liza issue. ;) I've absolutely adored Judy my whole life though. She had such an intense vulnerability as Dorothy that I doubt anyone else who players her could ever live up to, and I definitely agree - "world's greatest entertainer" :)

@LexxTubeV1 I have nothing against them is that they never sing her songs at the ocasrs or the Grammys at least they should sing their mothers songs they both need to thank her and tribute her, I know one day Liza will hopefully sooner than later it will be a successful concert and DVD. After all their mother was "the worlds greatest entertainer"

@LexxTubeV1 Um I love Liza I just would wish that this year because for so may years Liza has fought with so many people about her mother I just with she would to a concert tribute to her mother it would be her best concert ever cause she never sings her mother songs never but hopefully sooner than later she will as for Lorna um I wish she also had the guts to sing her mothers songs and they own up to her legacy.

@cinderelmo I know Judy didn't have blue eye but my point was that in the original book Dorothy's eye colour is never mentioned therefore it doesn't matter what colour ANY incarnation of Dorothy has, thus nitpicking about the girl in the advert is all a bit on the silly side.

On the subject of Liza Minelli though, am I the only one who wants to punch her in the face? As for Lorna Luft, she's my guilty pleasure in Grease 2. Less said about that the better. ;) x

@MOONST0MP No way jose it does come pretty close but this was in the 70s the original oz movie was in 1939 okay also that scarecrows face is too pudgy compared to the original tall and slender dance gene kelly like actor ray bolger are you kidding thats not Judy Garland or Rary Bolger or Jack Haley or Bert Lahr nope the guys came close but the girl does not look like the original dorothy Judy Garland yes to answer your question its some trick.

@cinderelmo Some of this is taken from the original film surely?? The Scarecrow looks exactly the same!! They cant've gone to all the trouble of setting a studio up either. Not just for a club advert! It must be trick photography.

@LexxTubeV1 Um more specifically Judy Garland didn't have blue eyes hers were brown ,big beautiful brown doe eyes that she passed to her daughter Liza Minnelli to oz and Garland fans that's an inside thing we know and yes of course as an oz fan yes I am highly aware that that the original silver shoes were changed to ruby slippers yes I know. P.s. Garlands younger daughter Lorna is blue eyed not Judy or Liza I am not sure about the original Dorothy from the book though.
