Jesus. When the complexity and ingenuity of classical music meets the hellish throb of rock, the heart rending, ear bending, heart pounding orgasmic rush of rock. To analyze this music would be mind blowing, and then to hear it--I can't explain. If there are two bands I take the most elements of in my music, it's King Crimson and Yes. Progressive Rock is amazing!!!

@AlexD69 Okay, I'm in no position to disagree with you, not having had any musical training. I don't listen to any modern stuff either, having become a bit stuck in my ways. Perhaps you or someone else could suggest something I could try out ? I'm on a nostalgia trip really. This band is my BEST find by FAR since becoming a YouTuber. It's hard to believe that this band is not still on the tip of everyone's tongue.

The end (in fact the whole song and also other songs by them) is messianic. That's my favourite word at the moment. I'll probably get bored of it and regret using it so much but I think it describes at least one major aspect of the KC music I've heard so far. Just too good for words :)
