Here are some actual odd laws we have in the US (keep in mind these have to do with sexual activities). In Harrisburg, Pensilvania it is illegal to have sex with a truck driver inside a toll booth. In Florida it is illegal to have sexual relations with a porcupine (can I just say ouch)! In Virginia it is illegal to have sex with the lights on. There are a few more as well, but I figure that's enough for more.

It was mentioned on the Matt Lucas awards earlier this year that the pregnant woman thing is not a law and it's illegal to pee in a policeman't hat because it is crown property. The not allowed to die in the Houses of parliament just means that they can't be declared dead there. As soon as they get out the door a doctor may pronounce them dead. I believe that it's some thing to do with not calling the royal physician.
