  • I loved this book and Jonathan Seagull many years ago, but I have to be honest that I no longer believe most of it. Things I don't believe: we choose to be here. We have power over the quality of our existence if we 'just let go'. The main goal of life is happiness, and God's will is identical to our own will.

I've learned that spirituality is a lot more complicated, up to and including our transition to a type 1 civilization, which will probably introduce us to a universe full of 'gods'.

  • @mknomad5

Maybe these skills can be thought of as steps and not the end goal. We don't cling to the steps

but for now they are there for us to use. We may discard them someday. I think that in the grand skeem of

things, an illusion is used to destory another illusion and that is just the way it is. We people tend to want something to be fixed and defined forever, but that's not what we are really all about.. We'll do much grander things than walking on water.

  • Many of the books I read on my channel I have in my Google Files which are easily sharable with anyone with an e-mail address to send them to. I don't have this particular one, but I have "Jonathan Livingston Seagull". "Illusions", I found on a scfribed web site on line. If you wish I could send you a file I have called "Books I Read on Youtube" and you will see which ones I have in Google that can be sent. Reading along with hearing is helpful for learning English. Thanks for your words.
