  • awesome. I plan on getting this model or the V10.

  • I'm holding out on the V10. I want to compare the two.

  • Now the Pioneer Kuro's are no longer, this is the best Plasma on the market. Still out of my price range unfortunately tho :(

  • Awesome TV! My friend and I saw one in person at Best Buy last weekend and were just in awe! I think it was the best TV in the store, even better than the backlit LED LCD's.

  • so shiny...i think the g20 is less reflective.

  • @79mystique79 Great news idd. I finally got myself a G10 a few months ago and I'm very happy with the black levels, blows any LCD out of the water. I'm sure the new models are even more amazing. Glad to see the KURO tech isn't dead and I hope Panasonic continue to keep it alive :)

  • @LeJimster maybe a little late , but panasonic has bought the Kuro technology from pioneer and is using it in their new 2010 line up.

  • hey fuck this shit ,, sony bravia is better than this shit ..

  • Just my opinion. I remember the days of impressive HD showcase garbage in the early 2000's. The only source that made these "showcases" come true in my opinion was the PlayStation3. Before that, it was just a matter of "Sir, why didn't it look like the picture in the store"? LMFAO!

  • Is this the 50" or 54'?

  • U should have purchased a Pioneer Plasma.................oh well

  • thanx dude, that helps alot.

  • I run 45% contrast, 45% brightness, light black levels, and all the NR off.

My room is different than yours, but that's my sweet spot.

There is no input lag with a Plasma, as you don't have the scaling issues you would with a DLP or LCD. However early in it's life (first 200+ hours) it's going to have annoying phosphor trails. I don't notice them in most games, but something like Call of Duty shows them pretty loud.
