I can't reply directly to comments because of the lovely accessibility of youtube *sarcasm*, but to the person who doesn't think we should be on youtube, there are a lot of videos that you don't have to see to enjoy, such as music videos and TV episodes and stuff like that. Besides, we should be able to go on any web site we want without having to deal with inaccessibility.

You know, YouTube, you still have no captcha alternative for the blind person who wants to post comments to videos. i do find that very disheartening; oh wait... Probably because i've been totally blind since birth... Hint: I go by BlindLibrary here, or on Twitter, i'm known as: BlindHedgehog.

I just hate that every other 3 comments I write on YouTube videos that I have to read a stupid captcha. Its retarded. It should have a one time register captcha for when your making your account and that's it. Not make you do a captcha every other comment you put on peoples videos, or responses.

@eclectictllc Just use yahoo or aol/aim mail clients.

I'm normally sighted and I can't read the captcha to get a gmail account, so I try the only alternative, the "accessible" audio link. No instructions on what I'm looking for from the audio. There's many voices, one is clearly reciting numbers interspersed with nonsense, but they whisper one number and I can't tell whether that number is part of a sequence or not. So I'm lost. What happens when you can't read the captcha and you can't hear the captcha? It's not fair.

Blind people can hear and still want to listen to the music videos and any other sort of videos.
Blind people still own televisions and watch them.
Blind people still want to participate!
