http://www.gamezplay.org - World of Warplanes is the flight combat MMO action game set in the Golden Age of military aviation. The game continues the armored warfare theme marked in the highly-acclaimed World of Tanks and will throw players into a never-ending tussle for air dominance.

Based purely on aircraft setting, World of Warplanes will allow players to build full-scale careers of virtual pilots offering machines of several key eras, staring from World War I period with "Biplanes" and up to jet fighter prototypes that led the way to modern air forces.

World of Warplanes will feature a wide range of warbirds, each of them unique in their effectiveness and behavior. Virtual pilots will choose from three main warplane classes - single-engine light fighters capable of engaging enemies in close dogfights, twin-engine fighters with their deadly straight attacks, and strafing aircrafts, the fearsome threat for ground targets.

I never understood what the point of a trailer is that doesn't show even a single frame of the actual graphics, gameplay, or design.

They might as well just show a clip from a WW2 movie and throw in the logo at the end.

if the matchmaker is as fucked up as in WoT, we'll see bf-109 vs. F4 Phantom-battles which surely will be great.

@freakyflow I agree I'm using a shoddy connection out in the country. wot doesnt have bad lag. as for how wop vs wowp....I have to say I prefer what I see in wop more but warplanes might suprise me

@PanterausfG I dont think that Tiger is the worst Tier 7, I could kill 8 tanks in a single game with it and I was third from bottom. You have to know how to operate it. What I dislike is the price for ammo for 105mm on Tiger II, where it costs more to shoot it then you earn for damage you inflict with it.

Considering how badly they underpowerd german tanks, and especially their gun penetration in WOT, i can bet the Me 109 and FW190 are going to be among the worst planes here, just like the Tiger 1 is the worst tier 7.
