Nice work. How do you drive the quill , ie did you keep the initial installation or did you replace it (ballscrew) and what precision dos it reach ?

@neziere The quill is driven directly from the existing worm drive - I simply removed the hand-wheel and installed a DC motor. The precision on the quill is not very good - I plan to automate the column (and that will need a ballscrew conversion)
