restarting with a better grinding disk.
after eight minutes of slow progress with a rapidly-disappearing standard metal-rated disk, i took a break and bought a new disk, rated for stainless steel -- supposedly three times faster and longer-lasting than the metal-rated one.
ah, indeed -- much better, more sparkly!
this time i forgot gloves *and* eye protection, though. note also that the film crew re-thought the shooting angle/position ...
