  • Hi Carol, I had my surgery to remove a 2.6 cm acoustic neuroma on 17/11/11. I loss my hearing on the left (not sure whether is it permanent) and is feeling dizzy especially when there is movement. You are so cheerful in the video and seems recovered very well. I will be going for physio therapy next week and hope to recover just as fast as your do. Thank you for giving me hope and Happy New Year.

  • @Kayvern Happy New Year and many wishes to you for a speedy recovery! The dizziness gets better, especially since you will be doing the therapy. Movement and head turns help...the MORE you move, the better your balance becomes. It takes a while to adjust. I had to "fake" my cheerfullness on most days and force myself to stay Grateful and then it just comes. Allow yourself time to heal and adjust to the way your body is now. You are healing! Much love to you!

  • Thank you so much for the positive videos! I am only 20, and I was diagnosed with a 2.8cm acoustic neuroma earlier this month. All the rush to get me into doctors has made me nervous. But, I am now scheduled for the translabyrinthe surgery sometime in December (when will be decided by my school schedule.) I was worried about needing a driver for places and not being able to be back at school. I am honestly a little scared, and you helped me to not be as scared/nervous.

  • @imcamodchick88 So Grateful that you are walking through the fear and that you found me! I am here for you for support and you can email me anytime. Try not to let the fear of the future and all the details(driving, school, etc.)take you out of the moment. Just focus on what is right in front of you, make preperations and know that you will be healed and that it will all work out perfectly! Much Love to you! Carol

  • Thank you so much for your videos! I, like you, looked on YouTube after I was diagnosed three weeks ago. I ran downstairs and told my boyfriend that there was no way I could do it and I wad cancelling my surgery and would let it kill me first. You have given me hope! I was going to email you but can't figure out how on my phone lol! My email is eternallyme@yahoo.com if you get a chance. Thanks again! You are an angel! No one really understands if they haven't been here... X

  • @kuksoolamy There is so much hope and please know that you are not alone. Many people recover from this surgery and go on to live FULL lives...more so then they were before because they now understand how precious life truly is...I am one of them! I am so Grateful that you reached out to me and please be looking for an email from me. You will get through this. Right now~be sure to be feeding your body nourishing foods and thoughts. Love yourself. Be peaceful. You will be healed. Much Love, Carol

  • @soho2014 Thank you for sharing in my joy! I am so grateful that it is gone as well. I was extremely fortunate that it did not last long and do not take it for granted that I only had to live with it for a very short time. Such a gift!

  • I'm so very glad to hear that your delayed face paralysis is gone.

  • I will , Carol !! :)))) xoxo
