How did you calculated the depths of each wood piece?

@akumalong Hi, you can have a look at "Auditorium Acoustics and Architectural Design" by Michael Barron. Go into QRD/Diffusor chapter -there's a simple way to calculate depths presented there. Hope it helps.

Looks great! Couple questions: 1) did you cover the nail holes 2) did you stain the edges of the mdf? Thanks!

@DualAcoustics Hi! 1) The only nails I´ve used are the ones on top and bottom, and they don´t affect the diffusor´s acoustical response. You meant that? // 2) I´ve added glaze on all surfaces, couple of layers actually. If there´s any other thing you want to know, I´m here.

@gaseosalaclashera Slightly confused...how are you attaching the pine strips to the MDF divisors? In the video it looks as though you're nailing a piece of MDF to a strip of pine, then nailing pine, then mdf, then pine, etc until you're done. No?

@DualAcoustics Hi! Yeah, that´s it. Actually, it´s a quite tedious task, but they end perfectly attached. You can try gluing them instead, but I don´t know if you get the same result. The last 2 or 3 MDF became impossible to nail, but everything ends up so tight that there´s no need to. If you need more help, I´m here.

me gustaria saber que softare utilizan para generar el aspecto visual de estos?

hola... esoy por armar uno... una pregunta: lo 20 cm de profundidad darian un a longitud de onda de 0.4 mts...( dado que la profundidad es la mitad de esta aprox.) si lo reemplazamos en la formula me estaria dando 857Hz aprox.... que seria el ancho de banda minimo... puede ser? o estoy haciendo mal el calculo.? y la maxima me da 5.750 Hz
