per questo lavoro mi hanno dato delle video riprese da elicottero il video era interlacciato a me serviva progressivo per fare un tracker migliore, anche i colori molto strani quasi tutto viola prima del color correction... i movimenti della telecamera ricavati con voodoo, la parti finte inserita sono le corsie al centro e qualche rampa, ma risultati quasi analoghi li ottenni anche nel 2006 soltanto usando le foto satellitari

hi..nice video..but for ordinary people..cna u please tell what ur trying to and how can one do it on ordinary computers?

i did use blender to do my own fox logo and it took 48 hours to render 20 seconds

i used 24 cpu amd athlon 5200 x 2 64 bit in grid compute in linux blender and yafaray or sunflow

Amazing - totally amazing! Do you think Linux is better for this type of thing? Is it more powerful than windows for modelling?

Some people have their favorites, but i need an honest, etical, technical, answer.

I am planning to buil a mini render farm, just 4 nodes for rendering. 8GB of RAM each.

Wich one is better for rendering?

Intel's Core2 Quad q9650

or

AMD's Phenom II X6 black edition

Some say cache is really not that important, but i have my doubts.
