  • @shameoncanada Layton could never have been a leader of a country such as Canada, he would have been in way over his head. Under Harper Canada has become the most respected country in the world and is the number one country with which to do business. The NDP will never even get a minority because the average Canadian is a lot smarter than an NDP supporter

  • Today no one is Liberal-Conservative-Green or even NDP. We are all just Canadians in mourning. Rest in Peace Jack we will miss you. Try to live everyday like it’s your last because one day it will.

  • @dagoninfinite Who can trust, "Taliban Jack' to support Canada?

    Who will defend this guy?

  • I agree with the comment below. I sincerely hope Layton never comes to real power, I think he is a moron.

  • Jack Layton is just a power hungry idiot.

Now he is going to say no to the budget before he even reads it.

We don't need people like him in parliment. When the next election happens, the NDP will be punished for tryint to steal government withour an election and worst yet, going to bed with the separatist.

I am sure western Canada and maybe even Ontario will boot NDP out.

This Layton is no good for Canada, he is just to power hungry and stupid.

  • In a recent interview with Mansbridge Layton was telling how Harper lost all his trust and doesn't make good on his economic promises. I don't know what you have in mind telling he'll soon side with Harper, but after all he's said lately he just can't support Harper ever more.

  • Just watch, when its convenient and beneficial to Layton and the NDP, they'll jump to the side of Harper and the Conservatives. Give it time.

  • I don't think Layton has done anything stupid during his career. NDP's been working both with liberals and conservatives trying to promote popular interests no matter who was at power.

  • harper decided to cut funding of the opposition. would you want a single party system in Canada? reminds of "democratic" Russia
