A question we have been asking for a long time. I think the answer is that the pope is not fully aware of the problem because the corruption is found among not ONLY American bishops.

What is more amazing is my bishop made a speech about how we must do what is not comfortable. I have posted the entire speech on my channel. It is titled "Prolife 2010.mov"

I saw a commercial by the CCHD the other day, and it denied abortion in the bill, and promoted it in a vicious and condescending way.

I called them. I told them they weren't fooling anybody. That they were impostors and did not speak for Catholics. I was going to demand to know where they got their funding, but was interrupted by the shrill, lisping voice of the young man on the other end.

It is very discouraging - especially where I live in San Francisco - when during the election of 08 NOT ONE priest that I heard during homilies ever spoke out to all the people (the sheep) about our souls and the separation from God we suffer when we ignore his commandments. Our Bishop tried to encourage the churches to speak about LIFE issues and the call of responsibilities connected to being a catholic...

Maybe it's already been said. But on the chance that it has not - don't give any money to the CCHD. I haven't for years. There are plenty of good catholic charities to give to directly. There is no need for a middle man (the CCHD). Dave out in Stayton Oregon (member kiof the first diocese to declalre bancruptsy). Sorry for the mispelling. But remember, the gates of hell will not prevail against the church.

There's a Speech by Cardinal George from 07 on youtube. When Bishop George speaks against Abortion only about 1/2 the Bishops in the room applaud. Very Telling.

Every time I read what Jesus says about the Pharisees I think of the USCCB.
