im native american and the swastika was used at one time as a sacred symbol. Due to hitler changing that fact the native americans signed an agreement to no longer use it. A sacred object can be turned negative. I rather not associate with satanists or anyone who use the inverted pentagram. @jin54363 They worship their internal divinity, the natural animalistic divinity so they deny social conformity to sex before marriage and such believing you should be able to fulfill any urges or needs as long as you don't hurt someone else, has to be consensual. If you read the Lavey philosophy it isn't off the wall at all and actually could be applied very appropriately in modern life. They reject guilt associated "sins" because it goes against the laws of nature, humans breed it is natural

@jin54363 Well that is too general, atheists can be humanists who are very altruistic, then considering Satanists are okay with you doing what you want as long as you don't hurt people (aka no pedophilia or rape) then generally they are like a lot of people not just atheists. Morality and religion (or lack thereof) aren't necessary for each other although religion generally offers a moral compass even if followers don't practice it. They are more individualistic and practice magick.

@jin54363 No they don't Satanists are individualistic, they worship themselves, they use Satan as a mockery to the idea that Christianity created, to show the ludicrousness of a scape goat. Satanists don't actually believe in "Hail Satan" even though they say it, Luciferians on the other hand, you have to distinguish.

@mrgreenpagan cursing isn't much better.anyway, yes satanists did that, but most religions DO use the pentagram, wiccans simply use it upside down to mean The God. Catholics used the right up pentagram, actually they believed it a sign of God and his power of equality among men, however, when people saw a wiccan use it upside down, the church believed it would be easier to simply forget that symbol. to me, that doesn't seem faithful, but that's just me. blessed be, and merry we meet again! )O(

@mrgreenpagan actually works like this upside down pentagram is used too represent the earth and im not satanist i just know what I'm doing all pentagrams are used for different things some people turn them sideways too there elements some people keep them upright too scared too turn them because its a Satan thing. why don't you all just shut up about whats good and evil and learn why satanists and others use the upside down pentagram and stay outta witchcraft
