Damn, this country needs to get on the ball in turning out some nice architecture, elevators and more. It seems all the nice things we have are foreign made and they are kickin' our behinds with everything. I sure would love to get up in that.

Nope, the Shanghai World Financial Center is the tallest. In fact it's the tallest completed building in the world according to roof height. Taipei 101 is slightly taller due to its spire and of course the Burj Dubai will be the tallest man made structure on the planet when it is completed.
