Support to Albania's Threshold Agreement: part I - Chemonics International

Chemonics works with USAID and the Albanian government to reduce corruption and improve performance in three areas, using an “e-governance” approach. The goal is to strengthen transparency and efficiency of tax administration, public procurement, and business registration. As a result, government operations that were cumbersome and opaque have become measurably improved. Business registration that used to take an average of 47 days now takes only one day and for the minimal cost.
