Following the S. Ossetian conflict in August, the relations between Russia and the West have hit a low. Has this period of misunderstanding finally come to an end, with both the West and Russia mutually threatened by the global economic crisis? Well talk about it with Senior Fellow and the Programme Director for Russia and Eurasia at the International Institute for Strategic Studies Oksana Antonenko.

  • Britain's relationship with Russia has soured since the poisoning of a dissident Russians on London's streets and in Europe. What these people say might be disagreeable, but such measures? It hardly engenders trust and fairness internationally: it looks more like organized crime to western eyes.

  • This "expert" Antonenko provides more traditional advise on how Russia should behave on the world stage. While the approach has the appearance of being concerned for Russia's safety "along its borders", its real aim is to isolate the nation. Well, such talking heads could soon roll any which ways.
