  • this movie was absolutely beautiful. i want to see it again! ya it lingered in some parts but the scenery was breathtaking. i give this 10 thumbs way up. i seriously hope this wins an award of some kind at the grammys. and im very pleased that jim henson's creature shop is finally back in business!

  • I think you mean Oscars, and I would love to see it win some as well. Unfortunately, there are very few categories it would be nominated in. I'd love to see PIcture, Director, Screenplay, but I think what we're realistically looking at is Art Direction, Cinematography, Costumes...

  • I absolutely loved this movies. There is a deeper meaning and symbolism in it than you would think. The only thing that bugged be about it was that there were leaves on the trees and flowers growing in the middle of winter in the beginning!! I'm from Wisconsin, and I know that definitely does not happen. GREAT MOVIE!!!!!

  • Ha ha! Interesting bit of detail. Thanks for bringing it up...

  • I agree! Like fagget teenagers in the movie were literally booing at the end of the flim and I was ashamed to be the same age as them. This movie has heart, it explaied so much to me. Such a fantastic flim.

  • You would be suprised. Nearly every kid I asked about this movie thought it was boring and didnt get it at all.

And I asked a whole 5th grade classroom.

Kids arent very bright these days...

  • "I hate frozen corn"

  • I'm in 10th grade, and I easily LOVE this film. It's so balanced. One part can make you start smiling and laughing, and in just a second you'd be frowning and feeling emotion.

    9.5.

I am in 6th grade And I LOVE this movie. I just recently saw it a month or two ago. And If I saw it 2 years ago I would still like it. I mean really its not boring its meaningful. Dumb kids want to see a bunch of fart jokes but those arent funny. Right before I had lost hope for good movies I saw a trailer for this. I watched it And now its my favorite movie. And It is one of the only movies I like. Not many good movies out there nowadays except for this. This is great.

  • @BurritoGirl912 and it was VERY depressing. i just didnt find it good for kids. again, i respect everyones opinion :)

  • i respect EVERYONE'S opinion, but i hated this movie. it really had nothing to do with the book and it just wasn't good at all. i apologize to anyone who likes this film. please understand :)

  • Amazing but made me cry... And i'm 15!!!

  • Honestly, I thought it was a great movie. Lots of symbolism, very well done. The ending was okay, but it could have been better. Over all a fantastic movie.

  • This movie was absolutely Horrible! Please save 2 hours of your life and do NOT watch this movie. I watch Horror Movies ALL the time, and this movie was Scarier than 99 % of movies I've ever seen! Also one of the most Depressing Movies EVER. If our kids grow up to watch this SHlT I feel sorry for us all! Just a VERY bad movie.

    CREEPY!
