It does not matter if this movie did not win Oscar because it has won the heart of millions of movie fans. Just honor it with the respect from your heart- that's greater than Oscar.

This is one of my (many!!) favorite Indian songs.....and I'm an Irish/Scottish American. :o)) This movie is a fabulous tale of slavery and escape by sheer courage, commitment, and common sense. Setting the untouchable as a valued member of the team was genius....and humanly fair. :o) Thanks Amir it's a gem you've created here...and it should have WON the Oscar for best foreign film!!!
