Halcyon Bliss at Winter Solstice

Such a calm doth fill our hearts these halcyon days
of weather fair inducing gentle reflections of timeless
nature where all can live in calm reflection of a world
set true such dreams we envision brightly as we grow
our sacred kingfisher ways as on floating celestial nests
we sit as gentle birds on the seas of life with tempest
winds their ire sated to lend a tranquil air to our eternal
being so far have we moved from the barren tasks of
ego needs ever subject to the vagaries of emotions whim
when so despairing that nothing good ever seemed to
last we sank into a torpor deep until in a eureka moment
it came to pass we wakened from our sleep no longer
held by numbing somnambulistic ways we surrendered
to our divine within to live at last shorn of all illusions
lack we live from this sacred knowing we have found
our love and gentle growing as we step forth
joyfully through this favoured land to see
forever horizons grand so ephemerally
glowing where all is fair and even
shadows cast a golden glare so
gladdened with a unity bold
we embrace all life and
love so golden
