  • I have a severe case of the disease and It has not ruined my life. I think you just need to think positively and not let it defeat you. There are worse things that could be affecting you other than your UC.

  • Anal sex in highly not recommended for patients with UC. The anus is not meant for sex in general. The lower end of the colon/rectum most likely is inflamed so engage in anal sex would only cause more harm to the inflamed area and problems with bowel movements.

  • I was discharged from the Navy because I have this disease. I started showing symptoms when I was 15 and I was just diagnosed a few months back (I am 17 now) It's painful and does effect a large part of your life but remain positive and make healthy choices.

  • Dead steak, test meat

  • this doctor is looking down at something and reading off it he dont know shit. prob not even a real doctor.

  • @eddievalleytrailer well, I do have UC since you can't really get rid of it, but it is under control. I just remember that when i started eating real food as opposed to chemicalized, processed, etc. foods I began to just not notice pains until I forgot I ever had flairs and stuff. You can call it a miracle or you can look at other claims about organic food keeping UC under control. Im sure organics are good for people with UC at any stage, but if caught at my age then it's very treatable.

  • @eddievalleytrailer I have to say I agree with you. I was only just diagnosed 16/10/10 sadly, it was untreated for 2 years, and undiagnosed. By 6/11/10 I was rushed for emergency surgery, at 21 I now have an illeostomy. I lost 185lbs in 27 months without trying, becoming severely malnutritioned and underweight. My diet since birth has been nothing but organic foods - obviously, diet is not a cause. UC has been linked with genetics, in some cases. Lucky me, I'm the only one in my family with it.

  • @keendreamer You have GOT TO BE KIDDING!!! Do you have UC? I doubt it. If you did, you wouldn't be spewing this garbage. If I'd merely eaten tree bark and lawn clippings, as you suggest, I'D BE DEAD. As well as thousands of others suffering with UC. UC will kill you if not treated properly. Thanks to my Doctor, I now am 6'0" 200lbs. During my worst flair I lost down to 119lbs, that's right 119lbs. I also had to have several blood transfusions. UC has NOTHING to do with diet. It is inherited!!!

  • UC and other intestinal infections/problems can be treated to the point where you have no more pains and flairs. Intestinal problems start from the chemicals, additives, artificial stuff, radiation and process of the food that we put in our bodies. This stuff shouldnt be inside us, but it is, and it sticks to our intestins and creates problems. Just eat real organic and natural food. It will fix your problem. Also take a cleanes that contains organic material, herbs, etc. you can watch my vid
