What about pronunciation MS ranganathan??its BHO and not Bo shamboo.Its shambhooooo.

Pronunction makes a lot of difference.

Great voice sudha,but its the difference between MS and the rest of the retinue.MS understood and spelled correctly every word she sang.By doing like what MS did,you will retain the meaning of the word and then you dont offend native speakers of the language you are singing.

I am talking about tyagaraja kritis etc.

You simply cannot mumble something and say that its a song!

i have seen some comments about Sudha. She has good bhava and very good ucha sthayi in combination ( only a very few have that). I have seen some comments about Sudha's capability. In case Sudha happens to see them she should ignore those silly comments. Compare with all contemporary voices. Sudha has indeed sweet voice and good mano dharma. Yes there are times when one can hear hoarseness. but that does not hinder her tempo

Great song. each artist puts thier stamp on it. Loved Maharajapuram Santhanam singing this song. Aruna Sairam sang this song with a fantastic Revathi alapana. When ever I hear this ragam I think of Aruna Sairam.
