@klala04 : the prosecution had no case for murder. Manslaughter perhaps, but not 1st degree murder. That was the problem. The jury could not convict based upon the evidence, those inconvienient facts that get in the way of vengence.

@KENA429 This case had nothing to do with racism. Have you not noticed that America elected a black man as President? It has to do with a drifter who had a criminal record already for breaking-in as well as stealing and drug dealing. It has to do with the fact that there was NO evidence at the crime scene from Amanda or Raffaelo and plenty of evidence left behind by Rudy Guede. Are you too stupid to connect the dots? Or just blinded by hatred towards America and Americans?

1) is was not the Italian government, but the Italian police that denounced the Knox clan for slandering.
2) The concept of innocence until proven guilty has always been a constitutional right of EVERY country of the western world. It stems from the latin "Onus probandi incumbit ei qui dicit" (the burden of proof is upon those that accuse).
