what the hell is this video. kobe and MJ arent similar in anyway. Kobe imitates MJ. Wanting to go to Chicago? #24? Tongue? One fist after a buzzer beater? Kobe will never reach the greatness that is of MJ. 3 titles with Shaq is not greatness. Getting blown out in Game 6 of the Finals is not greatness.

Jordan won 6 NBA FINALS MVP AWARDS, never lost in an NBA FINALS and was a 10 time league's leading scorer.

The tongue hanging out of the mouth, the switch hand lay-up, "its gotta be the shoe's", hanging 63 up against Bird, Parish n McHale, "the shot", 3-Peating, leaving the game after his father's death then returning to 3-Peat again, 72-10, the flu game.

The mystique of MJ is impossible to match. When Kobe retires the benchmark will still be #23.

That comment was intended to be a neutral comment. All I am saying is that Kobe Bryant has done the right thing by taking knowledge from Jordan. You would have to be a complete idiot if you didn't, at the very least acknowledge his playing style.

And no... the stats never lie. Jordans records will never be broken.

the league really pushes this comparison because its all about marketing. True fans of the game know that kobe isnt anywhere near jordans level athletically or in stats

The stats never lie. OMG, if you knew the stats you wouldn't have ever made that comment. Kobe would have to average 40pts a game to the age of 40 to pick his numbers up to Jordan's. And lets not even talk about PER....OMG. Kobe could shoot 50% for the rest of his declining career and he STILL wouldn't reach Jordan. I live overseas, and I teach classes to professionals part-time, I just taught an entire lesson on Michael Jordan. His legend is getting stronger. Not weaker.
