Ant queen mites - 1st cleaning done

After getting invaluable hints from users in a German ant forum I decided to cool the queen a little in the fridge and manually remove mites from her body. I did this very carefully with loose cotton batting. I will buy a small paint brush soon for the next session. 80-90% of the mites are gone now. She is very strong! I fed her a little honey and she laid two new eggs in her fresh test tube. Still there are mites sitting at her. But I will clean again in a few days!
