@URAMoronlol that is the truth! i had to stop taking it because it put me in metabolic acidosis and i almost went into a coma. turns out i was on way too much. so they lowered it to 50 mg/day, and it gave me GOUT! i am a vegan and do not drink, so the doctors were perplexed til we figured out it was the topamax, even just on 50 mg/day. and that gout attack was awful- it lasted a full month and it hurt so badly i was ready for someone to amputate my foot. i have never experienced such pain

Certain sodas like diet and coke zero seemed to be ok but couldn't drink regular soda anymore due to the metallic taste. good way to get off the sugar lol
