  • hi rick, at work we use recycled washed rags that come compacted in 10kg strong plastic sacks.very dense, one fell off the back of a truck so will give it a try.just bought a bowtech sniper so see how it stands up to that!.what draw weight is the bow you use in the video.kindest regards john.

  • @5j1o3h6n LOL, I hear that happens from time to time. The draw on my bow is set at 70 lbs. Let me know how your target works for you. Rick

  • nice one rick, will try your idea out. all the best from the u.k. john.

  • @5j1o3h6n John, have fun with it... let me know how it works out.

  • how long have you been shooting a bow?

  • @revsalinas I started shooting a bow regularly at the age of 15 years old back in 1968. However, after moving to Michigan in 1972, I hadn’t picked up a bow until 6 years ago.

I found a dealer with a new in the box 2004 Phantom II with the Tru-Arc cam. At $250, it was hard to pass on. This is the bow I use today and yes I shoot 200 times every day, at targets from 10 to 50 yards out.... good thing too. the only buck I saw this year was at 50 yards.... he’s in the refrigerator now.

  • @5j1o3h6n hi rick, snowed in at the moment, and bloody frezzing could do with some of your sunshine.will keep you posted, john.

  • thats great for the price of a bad target you made 4 great targets. AWESOME!!!!!

  • hey rick! our club am thinking of making our own 3d targets so as to make things more interesting for our club members and find fun in the sport while training, want to ask does it "hurt" the arrows should we be making use of clothes and blankets instead of fibre (as fibre stuff tends to be pretty expensive for us here believe it or not). much thanks!
