  • I like this tempo. Some may say it is fast, but I think it is much easier to listen to than ones that drag on forever.

  • she's a fine actress and a pretty woman. she knows the meaning of the words she sings and has a good pronunciation.

unfortunately those chest notes where the music gets low are as far from the right xviii century style to be quite vulgar. those pianissimos are sung at the right moment in the aria but with a wrong breath support that makes them thin.

both problems could be amended but problem is she chooses to sing so to be more intense.

  • For the ones who want to educate those "prefect teens" we have in here(their parents should have done it better due to my opinion) don't waist your time...life will put them in their place. Diana Damrau is one of the bests. Respect and learn.

  • giunze?:)

  • @ the 15 year old singer... yes, a 5 year old can sing this song. now to sing it properly and well... that's a whole different story.

and i can't decide whose i like better... lucia popp, barbara bonney, or diana damrau!! aaaah so beautiful.

  • When I come home after a hard day I destress by listening to Diana. :) Ahhhhhhhh! Thats the stuff!

  • How can anyone on youtube be so critical of Diana (@idraote). She is a world re-known opera singer. And she is fabulous. This is one of my favorites but I also adore her Queen of the Night.

@the 14-15 year old opera singer - your voice may change over the next several years and the music that is easy to sing now may very well not be in your grasp. Hopefully Maturity will help you in the future to learn modesty. No one wants to work with a Diva in today's business. Great advice musicVocalism!

  • @ilovekhr100 In other words let your voice develop for itself w/o venturing into intense repertoire referring to "high soprano" in other words Coloratura... Deh vieni is perfect for a voice student ;)

  • @ilovekhr100 What do you mean by "high" soprano at 14 you really won't know what "fach" or simply voice type you are... I'm 18 now and I started as a lyric mezzo soprano studying when I was 14 ;) Now at Manhattan School of Music my teachers say my voice is that of a Full Lyric SOPRANO so don't "pigeon hole" what your voice type is b/c you might be totally wrong like me haha

  • Maybe the best mozartian singer, GORGEOUS DIANA!

  • I love Diana Damrau :)

  • i'm 14 and my voice teacher really has encouraged me to sing this son for the spring concert. I just love it. Some may say it is too hard...but I have seen harder...this isnt that challenging to me. The challenging part is the italian. I am a high soprano. My voice has changed already and I can sing this.
