God has used Phil's talent and spirit to calm my weary soul so many times. This song is a classic example of his unique gift. Just a TASTE of how we will be completely healed when we see our Lord face to face. I love you, Lord.

@guitarcastle2 It's not an old hymn. It was written in the 70s by Laurie Klein in her mobile home. It's also, in my opinion one of the best songs ever written. Straight from God's inspiration.

Lyrics go something like this: "I love you Lord, & I lift my voice...To worship you, Oh my soul... Re-joi-oice... Take joy my king, In what you hear... Let it be a sweet sweet song in your ears." I don't remember a second verse.

I love this piece! I should find the lyrics for the song, cause we barely sing any of the old hymns nowadays. Phil is the best!
