30 years ago, on November 20, 1980, The Berenstain Bears Meet Bigpaw aired on NBC. Now, in celebration of the special's 30th anniversary, I have posted a remastered version, sourced from an early VHS release from Embassy Home Entertainment, and captured to and converted from a high-quality MPEG-2 file.

"If the Bears become selfish and greedy and unkind to the needy, and insufficiently grateful for nature's great bounty, then Bigpaw will come and gobble up Bear country, county by county," says the legend. Papa Bear forgets what Thanksgiving is all about, and as rumors of Bigpaw's awesome power spread, Bear country prepares to do battle with this "monster of monsters," but he's not what they expected... and it's going to take two small cubs to prove it!

Now when I see the words "Big Paw" in the title, I can't help but think of the Pound Puppies movie.
