Sony got the the next-gen ball rolling last night with their official announcement of the PS4. After a good night's sleep we assembled this morning to discuss everything we saw in the 2 hour presentation last night.

You just got some thing very wrong here... the UK has better internet connection then the US (Excluding Kansas)

both america and uk has quite bad internet. south korea, japan, switzerland, sweden & latvia is at the top I think.

i think the sticks are fine for me, playing years on 360 my hands got tired fast and i had to adjust the position of my hands, and never had that with PS3 controller, well big man has big hands right. that, sticks are in the wrong place is just a Brain fart, only way i can say it's plausible if you play on one console and one only for not touching the other ones, but just a small fraction of time, it will feel weird. i can't go back to any other controller than mouse and keyboard but that's me

I've got a feeling that Sony think the whole planet has a extremely strong Internet connection, I mean they went on about how you can download a game and play a bit of it, how large are these files gonna be 20gigs, prolly more

Yeah, the internet here has got a lot better few the years, with virgin media and BT... a few years ago i was with TalkTalk, they are the worst internet provider I've ever had. at the moment i'm with Sky at 12mb/s but will soon be switching to virgin media for 100mb/s! :)

super charged pc? PS4 is a $600 dollar budget gaming pc. The spec's are the same as my 2 year old pc I built. I m still gonna buy one just not at launch, probably a year or 2 from now. Gonna wait to see if Giak*** or w/e works proper. Because the pc emulator's of ps 2 & xbox games arent that good.

I live in Texas & are broadband sucks here, all ISP monopoly's with horrible service. There are 2 good broadband companys', but you have to be lucky enough to live in a town were they have service.

But I just droped time warner cable, was supposed to get 15 mbps only got 6mbps on speed tests KEY word >when it worked<. Most of the time I wouldnt have solid connection & they reset their routers every hour or 2. I have DSL now just because it's never down except for bad thunderstorms.

That might be true for a lot of people but also remember that your true download speed is only 10% of what your IP says your getting. For me I'm supposed to be getting between 5-7mb download and yet I only get 700-900kb. Streaming anything is not an option for me.
