Also, most female developers don't "Give up their femininity to be technical", they simply don't care to spend hours on make-up to post a video to gain popularity. Just because I don't say things like "super cute, like OMG" doesn't make me less of a woman. I'm just too damned busy making stuff and being technical.

No offense, but what do you develop? Are you a social media guru or an actual programmer? Your reasons for liking your mentor seem extremely shallow. Again, I'm just trying to understand your interest in women who "Do" instead of just talking about it.

Why is there an Ada Lovelace day, but no Von Neuman Day or George Boole Day?

Ada comes in with the analytical engine but Babbage would show off parts of his difference engine to throngs of socialites in his London parties. He would instruct the machine to perform some simple calculations and when his guests would come to accept a simple mathematical operation, the machine would change completely in what it was doing much to their delight.

I made a mistake in a prior comment. First came the difference engine, which was build in part but never completed, and after that came the analytical engine which Babbage designed until his death I am terribly embarrassed that I got the two mixed up.
