US Law - 5th AMENDMENT to the US Constitution [Protection Against SELF INCRIMINATION] Also, the all important "MIRANDA Warning" - In MIRANDA v. Arizona
(1966) the United States Supreme Court ruled that the Fifth Amendment - the Privilege (i.e. the RIGHT) Against Self-Incrimination REQUIRES Law Enforcement Officials to advise a suspect [i.e. EVERY SUSPECT] interrogated in custody of his RIGHTS TO REMAIN SILENT & THE RIGHT TO OBTAIN AN ATTORNEY.

In the UK the related provisions are set out expressly in the Code of Conduct attached to the POLICE & CRIMINAL EVIDENCE ACT (1984).

PROSECUTORS should NOTE that on 12 January 2010 the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) ruled that the powers of STOP & SEARCH contained in section 44 of the TERRORISM ACT 2000 constituted a BREACH of Article 8 (RIGHT TO PRIVACY), Gillan & Quinton v the United Kingdom. Supreme Court Justice Robert H. Jackson further notes that "ANY [i.e. EVERY] LAWYER worth his salt WILL TELL THE SUSPECT IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS TO MAKE NO STATEMENT TO POLICE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES."

- ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT the POLICE & certainly NONE of the PCSOs [Police Community Support Officers] have NOT studied CIVIL Law.

- ALWAYS REMEMBER that the POLICE CAN & DO OFTEN MISREPRESENT, DECEIVE &/OR LIE TO EVERY SUSPECT

- ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT MANY POLICE [CERTAINLY MANY OF THE OFFICERS OF THE RANK OF SERGEANT & ABOVE] ARE FREEMASONS AND THEY WILL BE PROTECTED BY THEIR "BRETHREN" [Senior POLICE, Senior JUDGES, Senior POLITICIANS] THROUGH THEIR PRIVATE OATH - to Protect BRETHREN who assert they are (puportedly) "IN DISTRESS"!

- ALWAYS PROTECT YOURSELF in VIDEOING any exchange with the Police & yourself - ALWAYS HAVE A WITNESS - make it crystal clear that you are making NO COMMENT if you are being accused of ANY Criminal offence!

PCSOs do NOT have the wider LEGAL powers available to the POLICE. [Invariably they tend to find themselves acting out of their depth & they just call for back up].

Any person can ask any person any question - but the Police can only LAWFULLY request your details if they REASONABLY SUSPECT you of having committed, committing an offence or about to commit a CRIMINAL offence!

If you feel you have to answer every question just repeat your rights and that you choose to have that right. ie- (Question) then your response is- "I have the right to remain silent i choose that right" say this after every question the cop will get sick of righting it down after every question and will end the interview knowing its going nowhere. While these words are comming out you can't say anything eles that will be twisted or manipulated to incriminate you. It will save you legal costs.
