Cool Terminal Commands

This is a 2 part series on cool terminal commands. These are all Very Basic.

Here are the commands:

White Behind Stack:
defaults write com.apple.dock mouse-over-hilte-stack -boolean YES
killall Dock

2D Dock
defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean YES
killall Dock

Add Message to Login Menu:
sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow LoginwindowText "Your Message"

Increase Dock Magnification Size:
defaults write com.apple.dock largesize -int 512
killall Dock

Change The Login Picture: THere is a easier way of doing it.
defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow DesktopPicture "/System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app/Contents/Resources/vortex.png"

Double both end scroll arrow
defaults write Apple Global Domain AppleScrollBarVariant DoubleBoth

Drag a widget to desktop:
defaults write com.apple.dashboard devmode YES

Old Games:
emacs
then any one of these:
5×5
blackbox
dunnet
gomoku
hanoi
landmark
mpuz
pong
snake
solitaire
tetris
