If he responds well to someone talking in this way then why shouldn't she be allowed to talk to him in this way? Autism does not mean that you are inwardly amazingly intelligent, it can vary greatly. I work with children and adults with autism and a lot of them respond positively to this kind of talking .... don't judge if you don't know anything about it!!

This video really got to me. Just becasue it shows that someone like this feller can be so lovely and sweet, and the love you have for the guy... I'm not that much of a person who crys a lot, but i found it difficult to hold back some tears. It just reminds me of things in my own life, and you're so sweet together... A perfect example of blood love, it's a good thing.

My son is 19 years old and severely autistic, limited verbal and has a touch of OCD as he has trouble letting anything go when he makes his mind up to do something or wants something. I had to board up all my windows in my home, the lower part of the windows to cover the sash(open part) as my son would wake up in the middle of the night and jump out a window and take off.

Hi thanks for loving your brother, sweet guy and great documentation of how peaceful Autism can be, I am sure he has good days and bad days, but its obvious he is very loved!!! My son is 19 and profoundly Autistic, non verbal, I have been trying to upload videos and for some reason the video will upload but the sound cuts off mid video for no apparent reason?
