Installation of a rear-facing Britax Marathon or Boulevard convertible car seat using lower LATCH anchors with rear-facing tether at a 45º angle suitable for a newborn or young baby.

Please use this video as an aid for installing your own car seat. This video is not meant to replace your vehicle owner's manual or your car seat manual. It is to show technique.

  • I have mine tethered to the leg of the front seat as that is bolted to the floor. You can also tether it over the seat as the manual shows.

  • That's great and all but what if I don't have a floor mounted anchor? My jeep commander only has an anchor on the back of the seat that the car seat is in. When she's demonstrating "rebound" , in my car the car seat can flip right up against the back of the vehicle seat! Help?
