在短片里头看到了当时新加坡的清道夫, 很是怀念... 现在的市镇理事会都把清道工作外包... 外包公司都请了外劳来胜任, 却不好好的监督,... 马路排水沟, 行人走道, 组屋停车场处处是落叶(有些排水沟的落叶已经变黑, 还发现里头有不知名的小黑蛇), 发现很多扫马路与停车场的外劳(扫地工人)只捡地上的纸片, 垃级等, 却不理会排水沟与地上的落叶... 清扫过后满地还是落叶处处... 对他们言, 满地落叶不能算是垃圾??? 难怪现在的新加坡跟十多二十多年前比, 越來越脏!!!

The opening scenes from this great movie. When I first went to Singapore in 1995, for memory this area looked very similar to this. Certainly the Fullerton Building - now the Fullerton Hotel - was still used as a Post office then, and I think possibly the IRAS used it too. But all those junk boats were moved from there probably in the early 80's. I think the area changed significantly in the late 90's or early 2000's with the Esplanade development.
