PART 1
This video will be the first of two that quickly give an overview of Nintendo's big break in the videogame industry, the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). It covers...
-General overview (Pt. 1)
-Controllers (Pt. 1)
-Tips on making your games work (Pt 2)
-Games (Pt 2)
-Prices (Pt. 2)

Hopefully this will help you decide if you want to buy one.
Its my first video so please by kind. Suggestions welcome.

EDIT: Man, I am really not pleased with the way this turned out after seeing all my newer ones. Maybe I'll redo it someday...

  • I bought a NES with a new 72-pin connector in it, and my games are seal in it really tight and it's hard to pull them out, is it an advantage for me?

  • @Toady120 Well it will probably make your games work better but will wear out the contacts. I would see if you could loosen them a bit.

  • how many nes do u owning?

  • @TheMattgfc1893 3, but only 1 works well.

  • Wasn't the NES Mono?

  • @Riddler95 Yes, but if you hook it up using composite cables and without a splitter, you will only get sound out of one speaker, unless you are hooking it up to a mono TV.

  • I want a NES :(

  • I sold my first Sega Mega Drive, then my Atari, then my Sega master system, then my Game Boy Advance sp, and lately my first Play Station one that I got from my grandma after some guys knocked my front teeth out. AND I REGRET IT ALL! This is a lesson for you who are watching: NEVER SELL A SYSTEM OR AN OK GAME YOU WILL REGRET IT!

  • What about the dog-bone controller?

  • @MegaCandy39 On the NES if you ask me.

  • @MegaCandy39 You could go with the Wii VC, no glitches or anything like that, but there are some NES games that the VC doesn't have. Contra is example. It's up to you, but to me, there's nothing better than playing a game on the console it was originally made for.

  • @nwesterbeckmaster That's what I've heard.

  • is it bad to leave a cartridge inside the system? say maybe for like 2 months without removing it?
