Approximately how long did this take you to make. I am also making a nbc scene for my senior project using maya...any advice?

@Teltanne This was my first venture into Maya so I think it was actually about 6 weeks, although not fulltime as animation was 1 of 3 papers I was taking consecutively. Advice...I'm not sure really. I hand-drew patterns to use as bump-maps to give the ground its particular aesthetic, and maybe something I should have done but didn't was use coloured lights. Could be cool to play the moon's yellow light source off a cooler blue... just random ideas though. Take it with a grain of salt.
