Those are called Butterfly knives not swords. In Chinese martial arts only double edged weapons are are swords. A 100 foot single edged "sword" is technically still a "knife" and a three inch double edged "knife" is actually a sword. Size is irrelevant when defining what is a sword or a knife in Chinese martial arts
