The 1935 Dobro - Ol'timey Summer Blues By The River!!

Just wanted to bring the Dobro along and make some video clips.
Found some nice laidback surroundings and played for a while!!

I get more and more satisfied with this old guitar, gonna bring it for some live shows soon..

What gauge strings are using? My dobro came with light gauge and I'm thinking of going with medium. But I don't want to screw up the guitar with too much tension. Sweden appears to be a very beautiful country.

I have 0.15 to 0.58 on this one here. Pretty heavy but it's tuned down to C so it's ok and you need a lot of mass to get that spider vibrating!!!! Tricones and spider reso's need heavy strings, a biscuit singlecone works nice with lighter gauges as well..

Great job as usual. I bought a guitar somewhat similar to this over the weekend at the Arlington, Texas, guitar show. But there are differences. Mine is 14 frets to the body with a dobro decal, still f holes. Very sweet sound. Anyway, I love your music. Five stars.
