Hey! Jaclyn, I love the take you made on my home town. I was Born at 600 dekalb, Academy Park, later fairwood homes. Read Makes me wanna Holla. Loved it, was one of 13 white folk to graduate from the Mighty Greyhounds of IC Norcom, in 93, We won state football champs that year. We also led Va in homicides that year, but we're getting better. Back then Norcom was across from Lincoln Park, as a white dude, I didn't go there often, lol.

Thanks for the "shout-out" on the P-town video. I am a 1999 graduate of IC Norcom High School and my business partner is a 1996 IC Norcom graduate. Is your last name, Eure? I know a female Eure that attended Norcom.

You forgot to feature fashion designer Perry Ellis, longtime musical director/bandleader Tommy Newsom (The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson), Bill Schneider- political commentator for CNN and Pro-Football Hall of Famer Ace Parker. Maybe you didn't want to acknowledge them since they are/were white men. The only famous Portsmouthonians you showed were all black and mostly female.

Actually, I did not forget to mention them if I would have known they were from Portsmouth. However, since my target audience was students(all races), I choose to select Portsmouth notables that they knew. In addition, I am of white and black heritage myself, so please don't try to make it a color issue.
