"The Lucky Penny" is a 15-minute, B&W, silent, comedy short filled with slapstick comedy, stunts, and sight gags reminiscent of the Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin movies from the 1920s.

  • Cliff you need to post The Lucky Penny 2. I have still not seen it!! Thank you.

    Rachel

  • I'll do better than that, I'll send you a copy. Give me a couple of weeks and I'll get it out to you.

  • great!

  • Thank you!

  • I really admire what you've done here.

And that girl is hot, too.

How did you work out the slapstick, improvise it on the spot or have it all story-boarded in advance?

  • lol, I agree wholeheartedly about the girl! The movie was about 50/50 of improv vs planned out. Certain things were planned out completely (i.e. the fall off the balcony) and other things just "happened" (i.e. the two bandits slipping in the dumpster). Thanks for the comment!
