Kidnapped for Christ follows the stories of several American teenagers who were sent to Escuela Caribe, an American-run Evangelical Christian reform school in The Dominican Republic.

I was there from 1999 -2001 5 months before I turned 18 to a few weeks after I turned 20. I was told I was no longer a us citizen so I was not allowed to leave. It has really affected my life since then. The place makes me sick, and has ruined my relationship with my family. Why would he be sent away because he's gay? Gay people are just like everybody else. Their humans, not a subclass. I'm a Catholic who is in support of gay marriage.
